TRAINING #10 - DEVELOPING DIVE SKILLS IN VOLLEYBALL

Group: 10 - 14 years (Beginners)

Training Duration: 75 minutes

Learning New Skills (35 min.)

The athlete stands on his knees. Then he/she throws himself/herself to the ground with his/her arm in front of him/her

The athlete takes a lying position on the pilates ball. The partner throws a ball from the opposite side. Athlete lies forward

A mat is laid on the ground. One by one, athletes throw themselves on the mat, throw dive

Again the mat is used. This time the coach throws a ball. Athletes jump and save the ball

One by one, the athletes enter from 6 and jump to the ball thrown by the coach at 3 meters

The athlete jumps on the pilates ball and is asked to do a soft stretch with the ball on his/her chest 

Demonstration of back take-off with somersault after dive.

Cool Down

Cool Down (10mins)

Only placements are asked to be played in in-game positions, the training ends at 10 placements in total.
