TRAINING #1 - DEVELOPING OVERHAND PASSING SKILLS IN VOLLEYBALL

Group: 10 - 14 years (Beginners)

Training Duration: 80 minutes

Materials necessary for the training: Dome shaped cones, tennis ball, hoop.

Warm-up

Warm-up and Coordination Exercises (35 min)

Athletes throw the ball in the air and hold it in both hands.

Athlete throws the ball in the air and holds it by clapping his hands.

Bounces the ball on the wrist (inside the arm)

Throws the ball in the air and holds it with knees bent after it bounces on the ground

Join hands together and continue until the ball bounces from the armhole

One hand touches the ground in a crouch, the ball is held without touching the ground

The ball is thrown high and the athlete passes under the ball until it stops bouncing

The ball is thrown in the air and controlled with the cuff

The ball is thrown in the air and controlled with a finger pass

Throw the ball up with the left hand as if serving and control it with the right hand

The ball is thrown in the air and caught with a finger pass.

Pairs of two, finger pass across, opposite side controls the ball overhead

A pass is thrown to the other side, the other side first holds the ball for 2 seconds and then throws it.

Holding for 1 second, the pass is controlled in this way.

One person holds and throws the ball, the other controls with a finger pass (4 repetitions)
